Character Noise
Character Experiment, 2022
Inspired by the Character Design Conference “Pictoplasma”, I tried to work out a little audio/character thing that generates a lot of variants of similarly styled characters. This was once again a mix of creative outlet and learning new mechanics inside Blender’s geometry nodes.
I tried to mirror the chaotic changes in the visual with some less melodic modular synth bleeps. Using very short envelopes and kicks into a long and cave-like reverb.
Character Noise - a fun minimal synth & character patch sound design from the hardware modular synth and visuals made in Blender. Constantly playing, trying, and pushing my own limits.
